A personal lending library, updated for today.

The original library-card idea continues here: a real book, an organized checkout record, and a reason to follow up with questions about what you learned.

Saving Your Future books in a lending library

From the Library of Alan Bush

One borrowed book can begin a lasting learning relationship. Read the book, use your free member resources, and ask questions when you're ready.

How it works

Request a book from the library administrator.

A physical copy is recorded against your free member account.

Use the book, plus any authorized digital resources.

Return the copy—or, when appropriate, receive it as a gift.

Borrow with purpose.

Members can see active loans and due dates in their dashboard. Staff maintain inventory and follow-up records privately.

Join Free to Borrow

A request is not a confirmed loan. Library staff review availability and arrange any checkout. No automated shipping or reservations.

Available titles

Submit a request for a title; availability of a copy is confirmed separately by the library administrator.

Our physical lending catalog is being prepared.
